Ideas/Concept for a product for Mocca fest this year. :)

I will be tie-dyeing 16” x 20” sheets of thick linen and screenprinting my illustrations over top. I will decide which illustration will be screen printed on each piece of fabric solely on the shape, color, and movement presented in each select tapestry prior to tie-dyeing.

Lol, jk guys. Here is my revised illustration for the “Say Yes” poetry assignment for my research problems class.I wasn’t aware my illustration would be up in a middle school hallway, so the bare naked chest had to go! :P
In and Out

The ocean rolls in and out,in and out.Water flows back and forth, back and forth. The wind blows everywhere. The earth moves everywhere. We move forward- but we can never move back.- Brynn Murphy-Stanley

Happy Holidays everyone! :)
Just finished this painting from observation a few days ago…

I’m calling this “Fish Are Friends.” It is a painting from observation…. I observed the movement of my fish in their tanks and drew what I saw. I later added color using oil paint based on values from the original drawing and reference photos of my fish friends. I have always had a fascination with aquatic life… They are a continuous source of inspiration to me and my work.

3’ x 6’, oil on canvas.

Hey guys! Sorry for the long hiatus.

Summer was fun, but now it’s back to business. Just finished an illustration for my concepts class regarding an article written about Pope Francis.
In this article the pope discusses how the church needs to focus more on healing its people rather than condemning them for their life choices, and finding its balance. Otherwise the church will eventually fall.

I haven’t decided which background to really go with.. Any critique would be appreciated.

Drawn out with pencil, outlined and painted entirely in Photoshop CS5. :)

shoe 2 is finished!!!! need some shoe laces though :-)

shoe 1 is done! onto the next one ;)
